American Society of Radiologic Technologists is Hiring an Instructional Designer Near Albuquerque, NM

Instructional Designer
The American Society of Radiologic Technologists is seeking an instructional designer to join our Education Department. The role contributes to the creation and redesign of educational courses for medical imaging and radiation therapy professionals and would be responsible for designing learning activities, assessments and content through storyboard and script development including learning objectives, assessments and posttests.
Salary:
$62,000.00 to $67,000.00 based on experience and education. 
Responsibilities:
  • Research, analyze and design new and existing instructional materials for technical accuracy and updated content and subject matter.
  • Consult with subject matter experts and collaborate with colleagues to create engaging educational content.
  • Make recommendations for tools and approaches to enhance the educational value of course materials or improve the efficiency of the production process.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of adult education principles and medical imaging industry technology and trends.
Successful Candidates Meet the Following Criteria:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher with specialties in educational technology, English, education, computer science and computer information systems.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • General use and knowledge of instructional design theories, time management, writing and computer skills, and creative thinking.
  • The ability to work collaboratively and independently.
